Slavica Mikulandrar. Maras

Slavica Mikulandrar Maras (1933–2010) – Croatian television, theater and film actress and poet, born in Otočac (Croatian, born in Otočac – she proudly pointed out). She studied acting at the Academy of Theater Arts in Zagreb and graduated in the class of prof. Branko Gavella and Georgija Par. With her husband Marko Mikulandra, she started and managed the iconic Zagreb theater Off Theater Bagatella. It was the first off-theatre in Croatia, a total counterpoint to large, traditional theater houses with classical repertoire. Another great merit of Slavica Maras was the launch of the first independent theater academy, Off Theatera Bagatella Acting School, from which many future theater and film stars graduated. Slavica Maras was a versatile personality. She published the collections of poems Konstatacija jedne mačke, Tragovi krokodila, 4 zida života i Mom stoljeću. She published records and CDs on which she sings chansons and recites. The figure was created by the academic sculptor Carlos Roberto Monge Gonzales from Mexico.
