Somewhere between the mountains in the untouched oasis of the Gacka Valley in the heart of Croatia is the Urban Nature apartment. Away from the commotion and stress of daily life and other guests, an apartment that is actually a carefully decorated house with a terrace and a parking lot that will only be used by you. It is 600 meters from Otočac's downtown and only 6 kilometers from the Otočac exit on the A1 Zagreb–Split. The excellent location, along with the exploring the Gacka and Lika Regions, enables a quick trip to the seaside or exploring the beauty of the mythical Velebit. Near the house is a supermarket where you can get everything you need for a stay in the apartment, and due to the proximity to the city center, you can quickly reach a museum, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants, other supermarkets, a children's park, banks, a bowling alley, promenades along Gacka, gym, health center, sports center, but also tourist facilities in the wider area and outside Otočac.

On the eastern side of the apartment, there is an open terrace with a barbecue and a view of Fortica, a well-known city picnic spot on a wooded hill where there are preserved remains of the historical fort of the same name, the Stations of the Cross and the chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows from the 17th century, but also the place from which the view of Otočac is priceless. The terrace provides peace and shade for enjoying your morning coffee with a good book or breakfast outdoors with birds chirping, and the specialty of the summer atmosphere is a cinematic sunset that will make your vacation more romantic than you imagined while drinking your favorite drink on the deckchairs on the terrace. .

The apartment is located in a part of the town where there's no intense traffic or noise and is close to meadows and forests that can be seen from the terrace. In a setting like that, you can have peace and intimacy.

Behind the apartment is a large green area with planted young trees and a small garden.

The 39 m² apartment consists of a bedroom on the first floor, and a kitchen, dining room and bathroom with a toilet on the ground floor. If after adrenaline activities or a normal daily walk you want to wear your favorite T-shirt again, next to the apartment there is also a laundry room in which all the necessary equipment for your longer stay is located, such as a washing machine, iron, ironing board, clothes drying rack, electric radiator, spare towels and sheets.

Your stay in the apartment will be more pleasant with free internet access (Wi-Fi), air conditioning, wood-burning fireplace during winter, smart TV, TV receiver (LCD) with terrestrial and satellite channels in the bedroom, refrigerator, kettle, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, equipped kitchen and dining room, bathroom with shower cabin or next to the fireplace on the terrace where you can enjoy listening to the crackling of the fire late into the night. If you choose to visit during the winter, the wood-burning stove's fire will warm you and give you the feeling of being in a cozy family home. We will also offer you homemade plum brandy (šljivovica), which will warm your spirit and body.

Directly in front of the entrance to the apartment there are two free parking spaces.

If you come by motorcycle or bicycle, you can place them in the garage next to the apartment.

The room has a cozy double bed that can be split in two separate beds, and the living room has a couch that can be used as an additional bed for two people. We must position the mattress pad above the mattress for comfort. You might request to have a baby cot set up in the bedroom.

As is customary, when you arrive at the apartment, you will find fresh fruit on the table and a welcome beverage in the refrigerator.

We will be at your disposal during your vacation. If you want, we can book an appointment for you for lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants in Otočac, order food delivery for you, we can get tickets for tourist attractions, book an appointment for tourist activities in Gacka Valley or its surroundings and make sure that you get everything you need and current information about the tourist offer, and if you want to visit one of the many family farms, taste local products and buy some of the products or handicrafts, we will be happy to recommend the best.

 We can host a maximum of four guests in the apartment, and the accommodation is ideal for couples, families with children, motorcyclists, cyclists and digital nomads.
