She is not alone in her work; her husband Damir also works with her, who successfully combines the ancient and the modern, working with copper and wood as his favorite expression.

In 2007, she received an award for an original souvenir from Lika-Senj County, as a cultural and historical souvenir. It was a Gacka's buckle, for which she was inspired by a Japodian fibula, which attracted her with its simplicity.

''Gačanska kopča'' (Gacka's buckle)  derives from the perfect and simple form of its shape, its symbolism of eternal movement in time and space, and the diversity of materials only contributes to the coloristic flexibility of changing fashion trends. I wanted to show that the jewelry of ancient Japods is above all modern jewelry, that it is timeless and permanent. It is made of twists and spirals, interconnected "eights". That "eight", as a mathematical sign of infinity, connects two worlds, two universes. It proved to be a perfect template for her to make jewelry from silver and copper, and she also transfers it to other materials, textiles, wool, and weaving.

Her need for creative expression has always been an integral part of her life. Her late father was a filigree master and goldsmith, and her mother's family was engaged in the production of filigree jewelry. In Zagreb, where she was born, she graduated from the School of Culture and Arts, and fashion design from the School of Textile Design. Always prone to taking risks and unconventional dressing.

Everything she does is with an emphasis on cultural heritage, and the "Gačanska kopča" (Gacka's buckle) , that tiny spiral and figure eight, is most responsible for her expression and therefore the best-selling.
