Together with the 111th brigade, it takes Čanak. During the fall, the 133rd ZNG brigade changed its name to the 133rd HV brigade. The brigade was reorganized in 1994 into the 133rd Home Guard Regiment, but that unit was permanently disbanded in 1995. The 133rd Otočac Brigade of the ZNG/HV, i.e. its members, mostly local people from the area of Gacka, should be thanked for defending Otočac and surrounding settlements with a predominantly Croatian population, i.e. the penetration of the so-called JNA and Chetnik forces. Thanks to this brigade, the number of exiled native Croatian population was reduced to the smallest possible extent. The emblem of the 133rd ZNG Brigade was made by sculptor Janko Mošnja from Pula.
