Route description: The Hunting Lodge owned by the Hunting Association “Ravna gora” from Sinac is located in close proximity of Majerovo vrilo spring, one kilometre away from it. The Godača Trail starts at the Cross of the Saviour in close proximity of the Hunting Lodge, 500 metres away from it, from where a well-tended forest trail, wide enough for people to walk, continues onwards.
The starting point is 460 meters above sea level and the trail climbs to the longest railway tunnel on the Zagreb-Split railroad and further on until Veljun peak (1013 m) and the region called Veliki and Mali kotal. A hunting cabin is located in the nearby Udol and Mala draga - owned by Croatian Forests, Regional Office Otočac and Hunting Association Ravna gora. The trail which leads through the forest is 8 km long. It is of medium difficulty, and takes approximately three hours to cross. There are several viewing points which hold a magnificent view of the Gacka Valley and the Northen Velebit. The KT mark can be found at the very top of Veljun, cemented into the rock.
The trail is maintained by HPD “Industrogradnja” from Zagreb, led by Katarina Kolaković.
